Systemic Leadership

Leading organisations at times of change requires a tolerance for uncertainty and a recognition that it is hard to make predictions when working with, and in, complex systems.

This one day workshop includes material that I developed and taught on the MSc in Leadership in Health and Social Care at the University of Hull, and will equip participants to utilise systemic approaches to managing and leading.

Topics covered will include:

  • Chaos and complexity theory
  • Working with ‘safe uncertainty’
  • The role of the change agent
  • The skills of dialogue
  • Positioning theory

I can also run a two day workshop offering more advanced skills and techniques.
